Observation details
Discovered by David Hursch, and spotted with help of other birders in oaks midway down Indian Ridge. Well seen and faintly heard. Pics and maybe recording. Small, relatively drab vireo with clear darker lorkers and postocular stripe. More richly colored than Warbling Vireo, with warm yellow throat and darker back (doesn't come across in washed-out, over-exposed photos well). Song was soft, very infrequently given, closer to Red-Eyed Vireo in cadence than Warbling.
