NOTES: ID= Ciccaba huhula was heard every night in the area, and this sound was also heard every evening, in the same spot. This sound seemed to be associated with the movements of Ciccaba huhula adults, often heard in their absence, so I am thinking the recording is of a flightless imm. Ciccaba huhula. HPF@240Hz. mf Bamboo forest, ranging between 1200- 1350m, Upper Tropical forest and bamboo forest, neither one very distinct, areas with bamboo, but never isolated, forest without closed canopy, bamboo 5-10 m high, mixed with early succesional plants, very hilly, always climbng up or down, but not cliffs.
