Observation details
Continuing adult day 3 (or (4) Found on the western north shore with Lesser Yellowlegs and Least Sandpipers. Found a few days ago by Ken S and MJG Stilt Sandpiper (Calidris himantopus) Green legs. Chestnut median crown strip. White supercilium contrasting chestnut brown lores and auriculars. Tertials, scapulars and mantle edged rufous brown and white. Undertail coverts, lower flank and belly strongly barred. Long decurved bill. Sewing -machine feeding habit contrasting the Yellowlegs closeby
