Деталі спостереження
Seen initially from Richmond Beach Park, at the junction of NW 190 St and 21 Ave NW, which is the northernmost edge of the park. I spotted one in a leafless tree in front of 19019 21 Ave NW, which is 3 houses north of the park. Upon closer inspection, I found 3 more Bohemians in the front yard of 19020 21 Ave NW, which is directly across the street from the other house. The Bohemian Waxwings, along with many robins and starlings, frequently moved from one side of the street to the other. Then, at 10am, all the birds suddenly lifted off and flew north, possibly spooked by a hawk. There may have been more than 4 Bohemians; I did not see any Cedar Waxwings. Out of respect for the residents, consider parking either in the park itself, or in the available parking area on 20 Ave NW, just before the park entrance. No Parking signs are common on the residential streets.
