Continuing. Heard four coot-like clucks but with Sora quality (relatively higher the Virginia Rails, generally sounds like a short "weep" call). After hearing those it poked its head out and just started pecking at something behind a group of cattails. Camera died when it went into exposed view. Accidentally flushed somehow while I was making it over to the bridge, made a weep call and flew away. Also one "ker-wick" call. Less black on face then the first large Sora I saw here, probably male and female. Update later during the day: The coot-like clucks made by the Sora were actually "quink" calls as referred to the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.
