Observation details
As we walked on the road we heard an usual sound like a harsh auk auk continuous then we saw movement in the woods I knew it was a black catbird had to do a little playback to verify the bird flew out enough for id the beak thin enough so not a blue black grosbeak the slim body ant longish tail not good for melodious black bird plus it responded to playback of black catbird so it flew off quick then another bird of the species vocalized in the woods tried a picture but it was very difficult through the bush .Everything leads to a black catbird to me since last year we have had sightings with other friends.
