Observation details
As previously reported by many. Plover slightly larger than nearby Semipalmated Plovers (SEPL) with slightly longer legs, single large wide black collar (not pinched in centre like SEPL) and notable white supercilium (much bolder & larger than SEPL), back slightly lighter brown than SEPL. Generally a more striking head & throat pattern than SEPL with blacker blacks and whiter whites. Bird definitely more aggressive than other plovers as it chased away nearby Semipalmated Plovers as well as much larger Killdeer. Poor lighting in afternoon sun behind the bird. Some crappy digiscoped pictures attached.
