Observation details
Continuing juvenile. When I arrived there were no LBHE's present, but as I was about to leave, one flew in from the NE and landed in the pond closest to the road and the river. It foraged in the open for a few minutes but then worked its way to the near right corner, where it was hidden behind a screen of trees most of the time. White heron with dark wing tips, greenish yellow legs and bicolored bill.
