觀察細節

Continuing picayune gruiform with a traffic cone colored bill. From behind in the bright light it looks like a weird hunchbacked starling. Looking at the videos i took its plumage looks more like a dunnock from above, with a pumpkin orange flank and a cute black and white ventral feather patch like some other rails have. I was somewhat concerned that the head feathering seemed scruffy but this bird was actively hunting and foraging the whole time i was present. Photos.
