Photos. Video. Diving near boat launch. I was initially confused by the white area with black lines. Thanks, eBird for identifying this bird as a Red-breasted Merganser. I now believe the white and black area is his wing. Perhaps an injured bird. Floated lopsided. Have video showing this.
