Lifer: Small robin clinging to whitish tree trunk. Has dark iris unlike pale-irised Green-backed Robin. I think it is the nominate subspecies (Eopsaltria leucops leucops) found in the Arfak Mountains. This subspecies has black eyering (unlike other subspecies which have white eyerings. The amount of black on its face indicates a sub-adult bird. In reviewing photos of both WFRO and GBRO on Cornell's Birds of the World, I came across this bird which is most similar to my bird: https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/522512511
