Flushed up from the turtle log in the main pond when I walked up. It circled low over the pond for several minutes before perching atop the GBHE nesting pine. It stayed up there for most of my list but moved to the vulture snag as I was walking out. Likely the same bird I saw soaring on Nov. 26th at the UGA Teaching Dairy field. — Sharp-billed and long-necked diving bird with a brown head and neck. Pics
