觀察細節

Seen towards the north end of the harbor this morning, but by evening had drifted quite far to the south. Very large, lanky grebe with long but thin neck. Very long, straight bill was medium-yellowish. Dark back and flanks extended up nape and formed an extensive hood that surrounded the eye. Bright white throat and checks contrasted much more sharply with upperparts than on Red-necked Grebe. Pics/video TBA.
