觀察細節

First found by ShoriV this morning and seen in marsh water north of the first impoundment. Flew just before I arrived but flew back a few minutes later. Hanging with GRYEs. Crippling views as it landed about 15’ from the small group of birders. Actively eating. Smaller than the GRYEs with buff-colored head and breast, scaly back plumage and dark, slightly decurved bill. Likely juvenile. Photos.
