Extremely dull birds, looking very swamp sparrow like at a distance but obviously Ammodramus in flight. Orange 'triangle' on face quite subtle but orange not gray. In a mixed sparrow flock in the phragmites with Interior Nelsons and Song. Felt compelled to add the third, out of focus, shot just to show the face pattern more clearly. Less distinctly streaked than the local Saltmarsh Sparrows or a nearby Interior Nelson's Sparrow ...
