It was fairly quiet out on the flats this evening, but the chats were out in full force! The biggest flocks I’ve seen and my feeling is that 80 is a conservative estimate. At least 50 moving about the landscape as a single flock, then scattered birds and another 20 or so in a separate flock further along the track.
