Bird first found by Jim Stevenson and reported to others. Mid size Chunky shore bird near Red Knot shorter bill than Knot. Mottled back with mostly gray but some reddish brown flecks in scapulars. Gray over all to the bird lots of dark barring on light chest and belly . Two tone bill. Yellow leggs. Watch bird for over 2 hours. Seen bird flying once lots of white at base of tail and line through the wings.
