Flight calls heard at intersection of Walker and Jordan trails. I happened to be recording at the time using the Merlin app to record a Red-breasted Nuthatch (which I find delightful) when I thought I heard EVGR flight calls and Merlin registered it, as well. Caught a quick glimpse of 2 birds about EVGR size flying over but unfortunately didn’t have binocs up and couldn’t distinguish features at that distance. They were flying southeast. Appears to be first report on eBird of EVGR at Horton Grove. Thanks to Kent Fiala for second opinion and audio review.
