These have been scarce in the past 5+ years where formerly regular in low numbers. Very small, reddish brown wren with very short tail. Seen well at close range. Made only one "chimp" call although it curiously approached within a few feet of us. In an area of extensive Himalayan blackberry and downed limbs in the main forest area.
