Took videos, which unfortunately I can't post to substantiate numbers. They are clearly American Coot. Never seen so many so densely packed together. Recent migrants, or possibly condensed by predators.(although none were detected) This number is very conservative. How many white bills are in this picture? 400 maybe? and that's just 1 frame of the video and this dense raft was one of 3 of approximately equal size.
