flock looping overhead in chimney pre-entry formation

观察细节

tallied by 1s and 5s from a video taken as they entered large brick chimney roost on older building a disturbing number (probably a double digit) hit the edge of the chimney and skidded off instead of going in or to the side, it wasn't especially windy but they did appear to have speed and a somewhat downward trajectory to their pre-entry "racetrack loop" when that was happening, later entries appeared slower and more controlled after they reversed direction and entered from the south instead of the north
