观察细节

Female perched on a rock watching at least two juveniles feeding in the vegetation around her. Beautiful golden scalloped plumage, quite a round look, and barely any tail! Sat quietly on rock for probably 10 minutes while we watched her. Finally extended her long-toed feet to walk down sloped rock. Saw one juve, looked male. Below Four Point Lake in Engleman spruce forest with a very boreal feel.
