Great find by Eric Hope who was solo when I arrived, although I passed Dan and Tad who had also just arrived but who were not yet aware of the Knot. Medium-sized shorebird gray above and light below with a short straight black bill, a light supercilium, short legs, and a scaly patterning in its wings (a juvenile) - seen well next to many other shorebird species for nice comparisons. My camera battery died before the best photo opportunities, sadly, but I captured some photos, digiscope videos, and audio too. My first for-sure Red Knot in King County - thanks Eric!
