Update on the nesting!! Saw F planted breast-down in a hole in the mound, with M wandering close to her. I was so excited, hoping for egg laying activity AND IT WAS. A nice big white egg had been produced, and then hastily covered up by F. It was gorgeous. Don't know how many batches of eggs F has already produced this season, but fingers crossed for ~late Oct to early Nov <3 Third F turkey loitering nearby, obviously not involved in breeding activities
