**rare | Reported to Maine Audubon by Kathy and Randy Blake. They spotted the bird while shopping at the Jordan Farm farm stand and sent us cellphone photos of it walking around near the mulch piles. I drove over in the afternoon wanting to talk to farm staff before posting about it. Unfortunately they did not want birders visiting because the following day was the start of Memorial Weekend and would be too busy for them to have non-customers walking around, especially since the bird stayed in the area where they were constantly driving trucks and farm equipment around. They did agree that if the bird stayed through Monday they would be OK with birders visiting. Carol Anne Jordan reported the bird was present throughout 26 May but was not seen at all on the 27th.
