Unexpected rarity. Juvenile flying up river at 8:06am. First seen flying low over the river before it gained altitude and eventually I lost sight of it when it appeared to be passing over the eastern side of the Delaware Memorial Bridge. According to eBird records there are only two other sightings of this species reported from locations in New Castle County and another record of two birds seen from New Jersey that were most definitely flying within the state of Delaware and within New Castle County. If accepted it will represent the first eBird record for November for New Castle County.
