Continuing adult male nearly into full breeding plumage. Large duck, similar sized to nearby WWSC. Black back and rear except for white patch by the rump and on the wings. White neck and chest transitioning to a peach color on the breast. Striking head with blueish gray crown, tinges of green in the cheeks, and an orange bill. Frequently diving and loosely associating with WWSC. Doc pics tba.
