Observation details
Believe the majority were big-billed Type 2, and great majority were striped juveniles. One bird in particular gave a different flight call and appeared to be smaller-billed (Type 4?). Most of the time they were either in green ash eating seeds, drinking water from the ditch just north of the entry bridge or in the cone-laden tops of Colorado blue spruce and Engelmann spruce trees in Section S near the center of the cemetery. They seemed relatively unbothered by a red-tailed hawk also moving around in those same spruce tops.
