Observation details
These birds seem to be 'resident' birds and forage in the trees near the house most every day; their call is distinctive, and there are at least two pair that echo back and forth at the beginning of the day and at the end of the day. This pair foraged for insects in the carambola/starfruit trees and in other nearby trees and leaves, but at times just seemed content to perch and pose for photos. There is dense canopy nearby which includes bamboo. Will add audio soon.
