Media notes
We found Chinese Thrush in the poplar forest along the Heihe River. A Chinese near-endemic, Turdus mupinensis ranges across much of central China. It is closely related to Song Thrush T. philomelos but is more heavily spotted and has more prominent wing bars. © Craig Brelsford (craigbrelsford.com, shanghaibirding.com). 2016-08-04. Small-leaf Poplar forest (38.212130, 100.160214) near confluence of Heihe River & Babao River, near Qilian Xiancheng, Qinghai, China. Elev.: 2650 m.
