Observation details
First year male. Yellow body to include underside and rump, with deep black throat. Black eye. Two toned decurved bill, blueish lower mandible. Blue-grey legs and feet but different tone than bill. One wing bar with greenish tones on the back. Very long tail. Photos. Did not hear the bird vocalize while I was present. Special thanks to Nadine for this encounter and sharing the opportunity! Bullocks ruled out due to long tail, decurved bill, body coloration (Bullocks has whiter tones in the flank), and no black line delineating supercilium from auriculars. Orchard first year male ruled out due to tail shape and length, decurved bill and overall body shape. Orchards are more compact in comparison.
