Observation details

One seen well and photographed prospecting Speckled Tinkerbird nest at centre of Malebo WWF. ID based on very small size, streaked back and flanks. Slight but much reduced malar stripe and no loral spot. Host species for this brood parasite apparently unknown, see: https://birdsoftheworld.org/bow/species/leahon2/cur/introduction?login#repro.
