Emperor Goose at Three Crabs when not walking was very actively feeding
Observation details
I found this bird walking on the beach at Three Crabs and called two local birders and they called other local birders. A number of them were able to see the bird. It was first walking and actively feeding along the beach. It moved to a pond across from the beach and swam around for a short time and then flew away to the west along the shoreline. The white head and tail were diagnostic as well as the small bill with the unique coloration showing some pink. The neon bright orange feet are also diagnostic for this species in adult plumage.
