Media notes
Adult. Remarks: Since this was my first birding trip to Sulawesi, I soon found out that next to the Spotted Kestrel, the Sulawesi Serpent Eagle is the most common of raptors in the central part of Sulawesi. Major distinction with the Crested Serpent Eagle that is abundant elsewhere in South(east) Asia, is its noticeable smaller size (perhaps -/- 20%). - SVDM. Date added to OBI: October 06, 2013.
