Observation details
male with black back, rufous breast/neck, pale belly, and a long and narrow black tail. it was first seen by the lake edge but soon flew overhead toward west. this bird's size and shape similar to Pin-tailed Whydah but its tail is much longer. I tentatively identify the bird as a Togo Paradise-Whydah due to its tail being almost 4 times its body length and its thinner tail shape. exotic/escapee/released bird.
