Observation details
Continuing bird heard and seen well by all present. The bird first vocalized with the distinct "wheep" call at 7:49 am, and every few minutes would produce another single "wheep". By around 8 am we eventually got satisfactory views of the bird, and continued until 8:30. The bird first was found on the south side of the road (cliff side), about 50 yards east of the 2 mile marker sign. It initially moved about 20 yards west, but then slowly worked east on the south side of the road. At 8:30 it crossed the road near the double power pole, and quickly disappeared into the dense bushes. I heard an occasional "wheep" until around 8:35, and we left the area shortly thereafter.
