Observation details
Relocated after a 3+ hour search. It was found in a huge flock of sanderling probably 300-500 yards north of the eBird hotspot. It was maybe 200 yards north of the “dirt ramp” we walked down to access the beach. It’s in the area that has all of the string marking the nesting area. After taking numerous pictures while it was standing still it flew 20 - 40 yards away just over a very small sand dune that was maybe 1-2’ high. It appears to be a juvenile bird. Will attach a back of the camera shot with originals to follow
