Observation details
Pair. In a rather small patch of medium aged Cecropia surrounded by grassy vegetation and sandbar. I randomly played Bicolored Conebill but got no response. A while later a Conebill came by and I assumed it to be Bicolored and played the song but nothing happened. After reading a bit I played Pearly-breasted and it came in to within 3 meters from me and sang like this. FIRST RECORD FOR ECUADOR!
