Finally! Probably my most wanted artemesia bird after missing the one here two years ago. Hen on north lobe. Brown back, white belly. Brown cap and spot on neck. Weirdly skittish -- would spook, do a couple high circles, then drop back. Did not see it diving. My guess is it was knocked down by the snowfall and moved on pretty quickly. There was evidently some fallout today, the canvasbacks listed later in the day were not present when I was there. I left at 11 or so, the bird left not too long after evidently. Pics. County bird!
