Spotted by Cedrik at about 12:10 in the weeds and fencing at 40.592952, -124.260023, just across the road from the Ferndale Wastewater Treatment Plant pond. It worked its way west through the milkweed, eventually heading into the riparian willows to the west of the pond. Funny story associated with this one for me, with Miller calling out the bird while I was lagging behind, and me completely assuming it was a joke. Photos as well.
