The Nashville roost is back! My general sense was of fewer overall numbers than at the height of the roosting in August 2020 - numbers may still be growing. I took photos of roughly 20% of the sky while it was still light enough to capture very high birds as points, and I ran those images through JImage counting software and multiplied the sum results by 5 to get as close a count as I could. Results were rounded up to the nearest 5000.
