Continuing bird-- previously reported by Seth & Ocean Church. Flushed from multiflora rose thicket along fence line adjacent to the Blue Ridge Parkway motor road. Perched on multiflora rose stem directly in front of me. Medium-sized songbird with gray head & body, black mask and hooked bill. White blaze on wings & white rump.
