Calls and song from a male bird perched prominently on a tall bush in dense dry scrub along the entrance road. Natural calls, then song in response to playback.

Not a normal species here, so the circumstances of this record are uncertain. Visually was clearly a "Long-crested" bird. Singing from the dense, dry scrub along the entrance road, just above the gate. Recorded, but unfortunately not photographed.
