*Rare. Fifth fall record and the latest for the Pribilof Islands by over three weeks. Seen running across the road as Marc and I were headed to Northeast Point. We stopped quickly and we’re able to see the bird in flight and along the edge of Big Lake a couple of times. Bird had a bold extensive white wing stripe with banded tertial feathers and a dusky more spotted breast. Call was a high-pitched “see-see”, noticeably higher than Spotted. Photos.
