female type bird ( not sure if female or juvenile, but definitely not an adult male). This continuing bird was found in the creek under the Hwy 1 Bridge where it is most often found. It move to the far bank when I arrived and then up creek maybe 50 feet. After checking the beach and ocean it was back under the bridge. I could not see any pink coloration on the bill. Mostly white face with a blotchy dark cheek patch, and mottled dark crown and a dark chin that blended into the dark chest.
