Appears to be a different bird than the one in Somers. Small goose but maybe a bit larger than the Ross's that has been around. Bill is a bit longer and grin patch a little more pronounced. Forehead slope is more gradual and head shape more blocky than rounded. More details tba and photos to be reviewed. Any bird in the area being reported as Ross's should be scrutinized and/or photographed before being confirmed.
