Found on deck by a colleague. Surely downed by the ship's lights overnight. Bird appeared healthy and was released unharmed. Certainly landed on vessel in the Howland & Baker area, as we’ve been mapping seafloor in the EEZ all night and morning. However, this bird was not at a location of its own volition leading up to this point, so perhaps this should have exotic provisional status due to ship-changed location.
