Heard while watching the osprey struggle with liftoff clutching giant carp, on the usual peninsula past the secret garden. Thanks to Pete (I think?) and his friend for canvassing the shore there with me and calling me over whenever the bird popped out near them. Sunshine came out here and there and made for some surprisingly decent shots!
