In horse paddock at (37.2551109, -122.3959173). Tiny compact egret with yellow bill, all-dark legs and feet, staring pale eye, etc. Hanging out with the horses and feeding on earthworms. Formerly regular in the county but now a very good bird in San Mateo with only ~3 records from the past decade; many photos.
