WHOHOO!! Super exciting to pull not one but two of these birds out of the mixed flock! Both non-breeding adults slightly smaller in appearance compared to larks, darker in comparison with black streaking on the back, the wing bars also apparent in field. Multi colored face with black steaks, tan, and browns. New county bird for me, feels amazing to be able to sift through a mixed flock and pull something out!
